First Aid Training

This course is designed for those travelling to MEDIUM, HIGH, and EXTREME risk urban or rural landscapes - where the provision of emergency healthcare may not be readily available.

Simplicity is at the heart of this first aid training. A reluctance to try to help due to a lack of confidence can be the difference between life and death. The course focuses on a wide range of context-specific scenarios, injuries, and conditions that consider the reality of delivering first aid where access to definitive care is likely less available.

  • • Scene Management and Casualty Communication

    • Primary Survey (inc. CPR with and without AED)

    • Safe Airway Positions

    • Choking

    • Dealing with Shock

    • Secondary Survey (identifying other injuries)

    • Bleeding – minor and major

Sexual Violence Awareness Training

Sexual Violence Awareness Training is a carefully designed program that aims to educate participants about the different forms of sexual violence, its impact on victims, and strategies for prevention and response. This training is vital for creating a safe and supportive environment in workplaces, INGOs, international corporations, and other organisations. It aims to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to recognise, mitigate, and address sexual violence and safeguarding issues effectively, fostering a culture of respect and security.

  • • Detailed discussion on what constitutes sexual violence, including harassment, assault, and coercion, and the various forms it can take.

    • Understanding the emotional, psychological, and physical effects of sexual violence on survivors.

    • Overview of relevant laws and regulations that protect individuals from sexual violence and outline organisational obligations.

    • Education on how to recognise potential risks and behaviours that lead to sexual violence, along with measures to minimise these risks in organisational settings.

    • Techniques and encouragement for individuals to take action and intervene safely when they witness acts of sexual violence.

    • Clear guidelines on how to report incidents of sexual violence within the organisation and to external authorities if necessary.

    • Information on support resources available for victims, including counselling services and legal assistance.
